Together Through Music: A Special Performance with Tunes R Us

Space Heard Us is grateful for the opportunity to join Tunes R Us as a special guest at their performances held every few months for children with special needs. Through these events, our musicians have the opportunity to perform, experience different stages, and share their talents with the community.
This year’s event offered an especially meaningful and interactive musical experience. Day Violin brought a variety of string instruments and gave the children an opportunity to see, touch, and explore them up close. The children were also introduced to the basics of how the instruments are played, creating a fun, hands-on experience—almost like an “instrument petting zoo.”
Another highlight of the event was an introduction to nine different instruments, including the French horn, piano, viola, violin, cello, and harp. The children were able to hear the unique sound of each instrument, learn its name, and discover how each one is played.
We are truly grateful to Tunes R Us and everyone who helped create such a welcoming and meaningful musical experience for our children. We look forward to continuing to make music, explore new experiences, and grow together.

For Space Heard Us, experiences like these are about much more than performing. Every stage gives our musicians another opportunity to build confidence, discover new possibilities, and share what they can do. It is especially meaningful to watch them grow through each new experience and proudly express their talents through music.
